Martin Viola is awarded a grant from the WITH Foundation to study end-of-life care for people with intellectual disabilities

Martin Viola, MA, Research Assistant at the Center for Research on End-of-Life Care, along with co-Director Holly G. Prigerson, have been awarded a grant from the WITH Foundation to investigate treatment disparities among patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the end of life. This project will use medical record data and stakeholder feedback to design an educational intervention for critical care and palliative care clinicians aimed at reducing potential disparities.
